I ride in a van supplied by our assisted living facility. I usually go somewhere only once a week. I spend all my time in the clubhouse or in my room. It’s not bad.
With my husband in the car for longer trips
Or walk by myself to shops twice or three times a week
Would love to take a train…I see them come past every day.
I catch the bus or get a ride from my friend
For me , it’s walking to things that are near me within the area I know. For things like shopping my stepdaughter takes me in her car.
No public transportation where I live. Almost twenty miles to nearest grocery store. So I have to drive.
I live near a big shopping mall , a fruit barn and two parks, so walking is the main way of my going out. However I do use bus and subway a lot to get to CBD or hospitals.
Usually my own vehicle, but I don’t drive so have to rely on other people to drive me. I also often take the bus or walk, depending on where I want to go.
I live in a town small enough that I can do most of what I need to via walking. Vlad the Impala is on top for those occasions when I need to drive.
I’m not surprised that “my own vehicle” won
my vehicle needs a new battery and has sat there too long already…
I drive Angie’s car for everything for us.
I have my own car but use a train to get to see shrink as it’s too expensive to park in the city!
We always take my car cuz it’s never been beat. I get around.
Out here it would be very difficult to get around without a car. No buses. Taxis cost a fortune.
