how do you come off clozapine 900mg
I presume you come off it gradually with the help of a pdoc. When I came off it the pdoc treating me at the time wasnt a good one and she took me off clozapine drastically and replaced it with risperdal. As a result I had a bad episode and had to go to hospital. That hospitalisation was the scariest and I was the most ill than I have ever been. But the risperdal within a month brought me to a gradual remission and I got better and went into complete remission for five years.
Hope that coming off clozapine will be a much better experience for you than it was for me!

I think it was complete remission for those five years, bcuz I wasn’t on meds and was coping ok. I may have had voices still, i don’t know. I wasn’t clued up on sz at that time. But in 2012 my sz came back so I’m on meds again - amisulpride and olanzapine. and they working well. Get a few symptoms still like intrusive thoughts, but coping ok most of the time.

If you are taking this be careful about discontinuing it. Withdrawing from clozapine may come with many potential consequences. I hope you have someone with sufficient expertise to help with the process.
