How do we know Outer Space is real?

The entire cosmos could be fake. We accept what the Government and Scientists tell us. But we’ll never know if the cosmos is real until we each travel through it. Or to another planet or moon.

go outside your house. Then you will be in outer space.

on serious note, you can probably go to your local space center and use there special telescopes to look at stars more closely. That may give you a more realistic feel to it.

I agree with @LevelJ1. You can see it. Try a telescope

If we live in a simulation everything, not just outer space, is fake, but if we don’t live in a simulation it’s hard to see how outer space could possibly be fake.

Telescopes, and looking at the stars, there’s live satellites online if you trust those, I believe there is

Reminds me of ancient cosmologies:

It has to be real. It’s been in too many movies.

Well, I’ve never been to Africa but I’m pretty sure it’s real.

Mankind has been studying the cosmos from the beginning of time.

How would you explain the millions of images of space that have been recorded?

It’s pretty improbable that space is a 2000 (or more) year old hoax perpetuated by every scientist in history who ever studied it. And somehow millions of astronomers have this huge conspiracy to make billions and billions of people believe in something that doesn’t exist.

If you want proof, order a $20.00 telescope off of Amazon and aim straight up at night.

You use space between each word, if that doesen’t prove it…

There’s a big difference between a scientific theory and just your average theory. For science you need some rigorous testing and repeatable results. We know the Sun is a star and we have figured out that planets are there. Space is real.

It’s like gravity. That is a scientific theory. You don’t fly off the planet even though it’s travelling through space because of gravity. You know it exists because it’s simple repeatable testing that will teach you what goes up must come down.

‘The trouble with space is that there is so much of it’ lol.

I think its a quote from somewhere

Outerspace is where farts go when you cant smell them anymore lol

It’s ironic. Soon no one will need a gaming PC. Such as with the upcoming game “Starfield” by bethesda. Streaming services. Both micorsoft and sony already have them. With unlimited broadband you can simply stream the game. It’s the “future” I guess.

I don’t think a telescope will be worth it in the city. Too much light pollution. Also the Apollo Moon landing is fake. No visible stars in the background and the flag was waving in no atmosphere.

I feel like their is a giant dome or some kind of projection around the Earth. Not a powerful belief though.

It isn’t fake, those observations are extremely easy to debunk. Remember, a black sky - like you have on the moon due to lack of atmosphere - does not equal a night sky.

The dome thing is a standard belief among flat earthers, there is zero evidence for it and plenty against.

A couple people might disagree with you there.

So innerspace would be holding your farts in?
