I’ve been eating bowls of frozen vegetables. I heat them up in the microwave and then put a sauce on them. They’re selling a mix of green peas, green beans, carrots, and corn at Wal Mart. That is what works best for me. If you want to try a laxative get bulk fiber laxative. That works best.

Take a walk first thing in the morning. My grandma swears by it. She calls it her Early Morning Shakedown.

I eat Apple’s at night. I sit most every day I wake

My doctor told me to mix a capful of Miralax with juice every morning. This morning was my first try,bel I’ll let you know how it goes. Don’t get in the habit of taking stimulant laxitives, because your body will grow dependent on them.

As much as I love dairy… I have to stay away.

Also… lot’s of fruit and fiber.

If dieting isn’t enough, the occasional helping of a cup of Milk of Magnesia does the trick for me.

Metamucil…

So far, the Miralax definitely does the trick! I have been regular all day without worrying about diahrea, which can happen with stimulant laxatives.

Broccoli has tons of fiber, and counts as a green leafy vegetable!

So I make myself fiber-enriched veggie-based pasta with broccoli in tomato sauce, and that does the trick.

The closer your fruits and veggies are to being raw, the better their benefits, I think, and for that, apples, carrot sticks, and celery (with peanut butter!) are good snacks.

You might also want to try some basic yoga poses. Some people swear yoga gets things moving when nothing else can, but I don’t know…

I tend to change my eating habits to more healthier fuller meals with vegetables and fiber. I had to go see a dietitian to help redefine area problems in my eating habits and what I can to better it. They also said to keep track of your daily caloric intake and what you eat daily. I tend to do it NATURALLY though so no planning needed and try try and try to get more fibers.

I struggle with constipation everyday. I use to never be this way until I took some medications and then I started be proactive about it and do something about because I have to accept that fact that this is happening and its a problem that needs to be addressed. Watchout for some ineffective medications as well and diabetes people can go after pharmaceutical companies for harmful drugs.

Have a good one!

All good. All helpful. All effective. But all slow. Drinking a 12-oz. glass of warm (not hot) water is probably the oldest trick there is. (Too much of a good thing may not be, however. Hypernatremia is not desirable.) (Lookitup?)

Eat 3 bite size prunes every day. Just be patient. Things will begin to happen.

I take a 250 MG dose of magnesium a day. Among the other properties this nutrient has regularity is one.

Sometimes, when I feel like it, I’ll drink 2 cups of plain, hot water. That is often enough. Other times, I’ll stir a tablespoon of Metamucil in a glass of hot water. That works too.

To be regular, do what everybody else suggested and eat lots of fiber. Like they said, lots of fruits and vegetables and bran. That should keep you regular over the long term. For emergencies when you need help immeidiately for a current bad bout of constipation you can get relief within a few hours with an over the counter laxitive. Ask a pharmacist what would work best for your situation.

Fruit or psyllium pills.

I drink coffee and sit on my computer surfing the web. Helps a lot for some reason, lol! Maybe because I’m relaxed then. Apples also work for me.
