Thank you @JustTrish, I am learning to move forward and get on with my life.
I was working in the cigarette cage at the little native american casino in my town and he walked up to my cage and apparently tried to ask for cigarettes. I thought he was developmentally disabled because he couldn’t talk right. I kept stumbling over his words. I finally deduced what he wanted and sent him on his way. After a few more encounters with him I realized he was fine, just had a crush on me and was nervous to talk.
Then one day I was out back taking a smoke break and he walked by with a casino shirt on, and I said that’s too bad because I don’t date co-workers (he had just started working there that day) and he started taking his shirt off as if to quit. It tickled my fancy.
A few days later a good friend of mine passed away from cancer and I was crying off and on at work that day, well he noticed and when he got off work that day he went and got a single rose and brought it back for me to cheer me up and that really got my attention. We’ve been together almost 10 years, well played darling.
I met mine after talking to him for over a month online. This is kinda unusual because in the online dating world people want to meet each other quick to see if they are compatible, if they not they part ways. Anyway, decided to have a walk in the park. Mostly because we are two awkward people and we didn’t have to stare at each other and there were not any awkward moments this way. And we got to take pictures around us. And went near the swans. Best first date ever. Although he doesn’t consider it a date. More of a meeting. We official declared we were dating about 1 1/2 months later.
