My wife and I both went to a Club to watch a local band play. I was standing by the front of the stage, and she strolled up to me and asked if we could share a drink.
Two kids, a cat and a guinea pig later…it all worked out.

I met my ex husband before online dating was the thing. He advertised in the local paper and I was the sucker that answered it. However, we were together for nearly nineteen years and had a wonderful son together and I got to see a little bit of the world.
I lived in FL already flung across the united states from oklahoma in an online relationship turned bad…she treated me bad and ignored me so I met my then to be schizophrenic wife on this site and we got together in AZ and both of us were delusional and went through a half a million dollar bancruptcy (including two houses)…it ruined us when we finally got stable on a med change she wanted out so I moved here back to Oklahoma…I also met Angie online.
I met mine on Myspace. We were in college. I was depressed and looking for a one night stand. He found my profile and messaged me on AOL instant messenger and I invited him to my dorm an hour later. He refused and insisted we meet in public in the middle of the day.
Been together since.
Also, he was a not until marriage kind of guy, so I never said get my one night stand.
I met my husband online. I was a divorcee with two young kids, living in Oklahoma. He was a college guy living with friends in a small apartment in Upper Michigan.
We were both on a chat room for colleges called Tap Online. We started talking, just as friends. He had an online girlfriend and I thought he was too young and naive.
After months of talking he finally realized the other girl was feeding him fantastic lies and I realized, age be damned, I was in love with him.
Finally on Feb 10th 1999, I flew over a thousand miles to meet someone from online. A few days later we went and got my (now our) kids and we all moved in together. A year later we were married.
So 20 years
I met my ex while running away from home. He asked me to take him to a pizza place and we went to his place afterward. Two weeks later, I left him. But, a few months later, he hunted me down and we started dating. We were married for about six years but together much, much longer.
I met my boyfriend on a dating app lol but I don’t think we will last 29 years
I met my partner on a website call 43 Things. It is where you list a number of different things you want to achieve in your life. And whatever your goal is, it will direct you to another part of the forum where other people who have the same goals can meet and talk together. So we had a shared interest. We’ve been together for 11 years now.
Met my ex on this websites old chat space. She hit me up with a private message which I missed till well after the event. Next time I didn’t miss it and we got to talking as you do!

I met my wife in nyc. My friend asked me to go to his film school party and we met sitting next to each other. We all ended up going to a girl’s apartment to hangout after and we talked until the sun came up overlooking Central Park. When it was time to go I gave her my number and she called me the next day. That was 16 years ago

I met my husband in internet.
We met online! Booyah!
We met on a NHL team’s official message board. I was sharing season tickets and the team was my entire social life so I was on the forums a lot. He was in Calgary and joined our boards because he didn’t know any other Caps fans. We started as friends, both involved with other people. He had computer problems for almost four months and was offline. During that time, we both had left our exes.
Private messaging led to e-mails and entire days on the phone, led to me flying to Calgary to meet him. I fell in love with the city and him. We both knew it was the real thing and got engaged after only 11 days in the same room together. Did the long distance thing for the next seven months, then I moved to Calgary and we got married on the one year anniversary of our meeting.
That was 16 1/2 years ago, 15 1/2 years married, and both extremely happy.
