I’m a woman so I didn’t do free weights.
I joined the local expensive gym with everything and went whole hog to lose weight.
At first I was weak but they had the fancy computers that track your weights and reps.
I got really strong and solid. But actually since muscle weights more than fat I actually gained a bit. I swam I took all the classes.
After 3 years to save money I gave up. I started just walking more this summer and got down to my lowest weight in years. But winter I can’t walk as much so I better watch how much I eat. Tough with thanksgiving on the way. I do have an egg nog weakness that goes away when you can’t buy it any more.
