How can I get back to a med schedule?

I skipped my meds last night because I took a supplement. I took them this morning. How can I take my night time doses if I already took them at 8am? I would be overmedicating if I took them already. Should I cut pills in half and from now on split the doses throughout the day? I need some one to sort this out. I’m taking a nap, bye, ttys, thanks

They’re not open on Sunday. I can’t sleep, voices are keeping me up. All different people. I just envisioned an old lady falling out a window. And heard a man’s voice going oh my God!

Pharmacies aren’t friendly around here anyway. There’s stigma

Can you not take a supplement and your meds together? I don’t see why not! Your doctors office may be closed but on the answering service there should be an option to speak with someone on call.

No, because you last took them at 8:00 am, so that’s 15 hours in between.

I was afraid to. I’m not taking that supplement anymore though. Yeah that’s an option, but then it will be in my file. My pdoc and therapist will get the write up tomorrow if I call

If it’s half the time or more you should take, but if it’s less than half the time you should skip.

Yeah. You took at 8:00 am, so taking at 11:00 pm is 15 hours, so that’s more than half of 24 hours. This is a rule of thumb I learned from my psychiatrist.

You should absolutely let your doctor know and call the answering service. They can advise you. The half life of some meds is longer than others. Especially if your meds say ER or XR they might be still in your system at 11. Please call someone who knows what they are talking about and don’t take medical advice from strangers on the internet.

@anon17132524 your doctor advised you on your own meds. You have no idea what all @Winterblues is taking or if the rules are the same. Do not give out medical advice that might harm someone.
