Hot Sauce preference

Which hot sauce do you prefer between the two?

Franks Red Hot Sauce?

Or…

Tobasco original (regular) hot sauce?

Franks all the way.

Yeah I usually get Franks, it’s got more flavor than Tobasco but it’s got less heat too

Melt my face off kinda hot sauce. I’ve been chasing the dragon so to speak, and I’ve only found a few sauces that give me the delightful burn I crave.

Depends what I’m doing with it. On chicken tenders I like Frank’s, when simmering chili I like Tabasco. For example. I like both.

There is a barbecue sauce called Bone Doctor that I am addicted to though. I put it on my veggie burgers every day. I like the original the best but there is also a brazen heat that is excellent.

Franks for chicken (wings), tabasco for fried fish

Of the two I’d say Frank’s, but I really don’t use either one. My fallback hot sauce is Sriracha, with the runner up being Valentina Mexican hot, which is REALLY hot. Great flavor though! :hot_pepper:

Neither! I’m a spice-wuss

Frank’s other than it has zero heat. I’m currently working on a jar of Huy Fong’s garlic chili sauce. Add a drop of Da Bomb’s Final Answer to keep it interesting. The latter is ungodly hot with very little flavour - it’s pretty much straight heat. It compliments “not hot” hot sauces that taste good but have no zip (Frank’s). One drop of it in a dish pushes me right up to my red line. Don’t use any Da Bomb product unless you’ve got a real tolerance for spice.

I’ll have to try the Final Answer, their Beyond Insanity was horrendous flavor wise. Nice heat, but gross tasting.

I like the hot sauce at taco bell

That’s the issue - you need to combine it with something that doesn’t taste like arse.
