There is hope for people with SZ. I got diagnosed with SZ 20 yrs ago. I’ve tried many different medications. I’ve been over medicated. It has been a long hard road with a long way to go. I finally about three months ago after going cold turkey of meds for six months knew something was not right. So I got on 15mg of zyprexa. The side effects at such a low dose are virtually non existent. I feel like I’ve got a new mind. The trial and error of different combos of meds lasted 20yrs. I’m not a doctor, and I know cold turkey of meds can be detrimental to your health. I took it into my own hand very carefully after 20yrs of experience. The conclusion is with the right medications, and also learning to mentally fend off the SZ symptoms through experience I think most of us can figure this “problem” out. Education could be part of the key, along with personal experience. What do you think?
