Homeless man giving the finger to cars passing by

I was driving by and this homeless man was flipping the bird to every car driving by.

Yeah I thought it was sad too. He was doing it out of spite, not trolling people.

here in my town, one homeless man stabbed another, killed him, in a friendly park.
we’re a bit freaked out because it is in an area that hosts concerts and festivals, it had to be searched by police quickly so the concerts could go on tonight.

sad.

It’s actually quite sad. He is probably very sad and bitter, lonely. Who knows what got him where he is. But he is taking it out on the rest of the world. He has nothing, as people drive by in their sports cars with their families, iPhones back to their homes with food in their fridge and a roof over their head and a bed to sleep in.

I lived in a very big city for years. Seeing this everyday wore me down.

I was in not the greatest area yesterday and EVERYONE was driving a bmw or an Audi. Biggie smalls blasting from these brand new beamers with nice sound systems, not to be racist or whatever but I wonder where these people get this money. Maybe they put high worth in cars and spend all their money on their cars. Otherwise they’d be living elsewhere if their worth of their cars matched the worth of their house.

We have a lot of homeless too. I try to be nice while at the same time, I have to be a little wary. Since a large number of the homeless are mentally ill and and my educated guess is that not many of them take medication regurly and a large number of them probably drink or do drugs I have to be careful for my safety. Those traits can potentially mean violence from them. About a month or two ago I saw a guy standing in the middle of one of our larger 4 lane roads on a busy day when traffic was heavy and he was trying to stop all these cars.

I try to give a dollar or two to these people when I can. I don’t have a lot of money but I figure they need it more than me.

Being that the average person that drives a BMW or Mercedes makes $150,000 a year and with taxes cutting that $150,000 to around a $97,000 take home pay along with the fact these people have mortgages or rent to pay along with health insurance and all the other things should make you realize that they likely live beyond their means or save little to no money.

These people do not own their vehicles. They lease them to fulfill their short term happiness.

If you can live without these items you are doing much better then they are. Because to these people, they need their mercedes or bmw.

I used to wave at traffic when I was a young teen at my friend’s dad’s coffee house. It was called the Fig Leaf. My friend made the world’s best blended frappuccino beverages. Other places add way to much sugar. You can’t even taste the real flavor.

I knew a man who was homeless and lived in a home less shelter.
He said the rooms were tiny but he got his own room and bed and they got dinner from restaurants who donated left over food.
He spoke a lot about energy.
He reckoned that he rather live in tiny room or tent or caravan with the good stuff than in fancy place with out it.

He had a family he could of lived with but for what ever reason he chose not to.

I lived in my car once for 3 weeks or more.
I slept in back seat.
Couldnt really stretch out but did get sleep every night.
I would shower at local public toilets by beach although the water was cold.
I had an apartment to live in but wanted to get away from people connected to it.
I ended up moving back in to apartment.
I even had my stuff stored in storage.

There are homeless shelters but it varies different countries and places and what type of support they have for homeless people.
A lot of the places are christian and may not always accept those who are not so them self but some of them are pretty accepting.

How difficult it could be to not have a place to live and a bed to sleep in and warmth from cold and nice food to eat etc
and lovin but ots of us may not have the sweet lovin from people in person. due to isolation , “hermeting” etc

Most people I know with money don’t own flash cars. They own regular basic cars to get them from A to B. And these few people believe me really have money. They invest it in property, and give themselves a couple of nice holidays each year. Even the holidays aren’t always out the country…they choose beautiful locations here. So I get what you are saying. One lady I know is very generous and likes to give others money for their needs, she sort of sows her money in enriching people’s lives… That’s also an investment imo

I’d be doing the same quite frankly…

Sounds like something my sister would do, just because. And I mean even before she became homeless.
Some people just do things…
