Hi. Negative symptoms and cognitive symptoms

Did you go to the hospital yourself or did someone told you or took you?

You tell them your symptoms.

welcome 2 the community!

im no doctor…i think “neg. sx.” come from psychosis…they can fluctuate more slowly though imho, atypical antipsychotics (i’d reckon!), will help stop psychotic relapse.

…events like that (psychbreaks + relapses)…that’s gonna be the stuff which might have those (neg sx.) crashing down.

that’s not cool. avoid if at all possible…the best way imho is to just take those atypical aps…so you don’t relapse

if you can come off them (doc says okay…you’re stable…),

…then you can do that and you’ll be good

i had terrible neg sx after diagnosis…its been 3 years, i came off atypical aps last april…slowly titrating since january w/my doctors permission, now im…i don’t suffer from them

i’ve been taking the atypical ap seroquel since last week thursday, im more lucid…

i know what its like…i’ve had them all before and badly…i was suicidal…i was super sad…they all went away when my doc said i could get off

anhedonia- no pleasure
avolition- cant do anything
amotivation- dont wanna do anything
ALOGIA (It was the worst!)- couldnt talk
poverty of thought- it was hard
abulia- inertia to follow through
