I haven’t checked this website or logged on in a long time. I went gradually downhill until I recently went to the hospital for the first time. Got back last Thursday. I am now on clozapine 200mg, along with hydroxyzine 10mg 3x a day,

is that a low dose of clozapine?
I see the follow up pdoc tomorrow. I’m having issues drooling, and am prescribed robinul 2mg. I found that I sleep walk on robinul so I stopped taking it.

Anyone have suggestions on how to stop drooling at night? my whole mouth fills up, its really gross.

200mg of Clozapine is a low dose. To get rid of the drooling you need Atropine Sulfate drops. :t_rex::t_rex::t_rex:

Welcome back! I haven’t tried Clozapine because I feel okay on what I take now and I’m fearful of another bad reaction like I’ve had with some APs in the past. I hope it works out well for you though, it’s the next option for me if I ever choose to take it. My psychiatrist thinks it could be effective for my voices, which haven’t been successfully silenced by any medicine yet.

Thanks @Wave. ever since I’ve been on this med, people say my whole demenour changed for the best, and that its like night and day. I’ve been having a lot of clear thoughts and speaking well

thanks @agent101g. I was hesitant with it because of the side effects, but that was my only option when I saw the pdoc at the hospital. He knew my history because a year ago he was my pdoc, so I think I made the right decision

of course I remember you, yes.

I’m doing ok, just got my meds refilled so back feeling more stable, missed them for 2 days.

I have exact opposite, I have dry mouth, it practically destroys my teeth,
hope you get that resolved.

Yeah there is a “chemical” type taste. Not horrible though. :fox_face::fox_face::fox_face:

That’s good that you feel stable and bounced back after missing them. I had dry mouth before my med change. I used ACT dry mouth mouthwash. it really works!

I get mine through my doctor. I don’t know if otc would be the same. Might want to ask first. :shark::shark::shark:

I told my doctor how I was drooling in my sleep and she prescribed it for me. :turkey::turkey::turkey:
