I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia but I have an African family theyvdont believe it exist but I know what I feel everyday the on set started after my mother died in 2018 but I didn’t know why I was having the behavior I was having but im glad I have a place I can go to for support know I hope we can be family and you guys accept me

Welcome to the forum.
A lot of people have family who don’t accept medical diagnosis.
As the one with the illness, you have to just tell your family to read about it, and ignore them when they are saying its untrue. Its just a form of ignorance. You won’t get anywhere listening to them, so just remember to keep their opinions at arms length and don’t take it as truth on an internal level.

I belive like the fbi or cia is watching me whenever I see black truck in public or when I’m in the house I look out of windows alot and I’ll just sit and have this urge to turn off all communications and go ghost sometime im working with being better with it but I have my bad and good days

I’ve struggled with similar delusions in regards to the feelings of being monitored and spied on. Overtime though with meds it’s not nearly as bad as it used to be.

I thought I was under public surveillance. That my computer and phone was hacked. Later on I had religious delusions and I’m an atheist which was off for my character.

I used to believe the CIA was out to get me and wanted me in prison. I also had delusions about there being cameras in places where there actually weren’t any. I’ve had thoughts about being spied on through my iPhone. These thoughts have mostly gone away on meds.
