Besides the native Californians on here? I was just wondering how well known it is outside of the state. It’s famous for quite a few reasons. It’s a huge park with such weird things as live buffalo in a fenced in area. During the 1960’s there were free concerts for the hippies there with groups like the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. There is a huge popular pond where people sail their model boats in good weather. It has a museum etc. What do you know about it, if anything?
I never heard of it (never been to San Francisco). Sounds nice, maybe one day I’ll check it out.
Thanks for telling me about it.
Yeah I’ve heard about it but I didn’t know details
Homeless folks?
Yes, those too.
@77nick77. You forgot to mention roller skating!
I know tour buses aren’t allowed in on Sundays.
Buffalo?
Wasn’t the Exploratorium in there for many years? Now it’s at Pier 15.
That place was so fun, been many times with my brother.
My girlfriend and I will probably visit Las Vegas within a year.
Your wedding photos gave me the idea. Thanks !!
If you don’t want to stay in a casino i recommend the carriage house hotel.
I’m going to make a note of that. Thank you so much.
I also recommend a cocktail waitress named christine at the flamingo casino. She’s lovely.
Yes, buffalo, lol. In a huge fenced in area but I couldn’t tell you exactly where. I haven’t been to the Exploratorium in 25 years but yes, it was there from when I was a child until I was an adult.
I actually didn’t know it moved though.
