I hired a moving company to move me. They arrived at 8:50am and had moved into my new apartment by 10:30. It cost $507 plus tipping each of three guys. I’m relieved that it’s over now. Now all I have to do is unpack…

No worries at all! Moving is one of the top 5 stressful things you can do in life – you must be exhausted. (And now you have to unpack… :flushed:)

I stumbled on this place on the internet while I was looking for apartments several years ago. You have to be 62 or older to live here. They also cater to low income people.

Basically I borrowed the money to move with from the credit union. I just turned 62 this year.

Well, I’m off government assistance now and no longer have my landlord involved in my finances. The place I moved to is low income housing for seniors run by a not-for-profit organization. I’m just thankful that I was accepted to live there.

I feel the same way living with parents. There were many times that they could’ve put me on the curb. I’m thankful that they were willing to put up with an irresponsible lifestyle. My wish is to thank them for their support and patience and be well enough to live independently. I’ll be 44 in December.
