Is everything ok?
I guess.
My mother in law’s cancer is not terminal and can be treated as a chronic condition with some pills.
The waiting lists for nursing homes is years long,
So I’m feeling discouraged, as far as getting my house back goes.
But I’m also not giving up.
Still making appointments to tour facilities and get on that list.
How have you been?
I know things are challenging with your daughter.

I’m glad your Mother in law is going to be ok. I’m sorry you have to deal with her in your house longer. You work very hard to make things easier for her and that’s very nice of you. I remember when my Mom was alive and I was juggling things to help care for her, it was stressful. But that was MY mom, so it was easier. Hang in there, I hope you can find a place for her soon.
Things with my daughter are the same, she’s being a piece of poop and everyone else is having to compensate. I’m just focusing on my Grandbabies and trying to be as positive as possible.
