-Hello @anon55031185
I joined in January of this year and I don’t know who you are, but welcome back!

Hey @Headspark i look forward to learning more about you.
oh thanks i been doing quite well =)
i’m glad you are back!
A quick synopsis on me. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2004, had to drop out of University because of it so I never got my degree (my biggest regret in life), I spent 5 months in the nut house back then. Spent a long time on meds with bad side effects. Now I found a medication without side effects that works really well. I currently suffer from really bad insomnia. I have 2 jobs, one part time and one freelance. I’m single without children. Just living my life. That about sums me up
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2003, but once on treatment I went back to college and graduated. Then I lived on my own and worked full time. Got married and now have five kids. If you ever feel like you want to do something in life, I encourage you to try. Its not never too late to do what you want. It’s a very hard journey, but don’t give up on yourself ever.
That’s wonderful, and very inspiring!!
wow 5 kids =O 151515
Welcome back @anon55031185
Glad you’re well.
That’s an inspiring story! Back then they put me on 40mg of Olanzapine which is a very high dose of a very potent antipsychotic, it knocked me on my ass and I didn’t feel like I could continue with much of anything. It was only 2-3 years ago they switched me to Lurasidone and things have improved tremendously (except for my insomnia)
Trepanation is easy enough I suppose.
Hey @Aziz it’s good to hear from you. How is it going?
Yes unfortunately it takes a long time to find the right medication that works for you. I’m so glad that you have found something that does what you need.
