I want to know what psychosis is and what are the symptoms of it. Can someone describe it for me?

Unfortunately it is different for everyone.
Each experience is unique to the individual.
Why not try to describe how you feel at the moment?

Ok well how I feel at the moment? I feel like I’m not in reality. I hear the tv and everyone around me talking about me and criticizing me. They are criticizing me as a mother and that hurts, and is so difficult. Being a mother is hard enough but for people to criticize me as a mother is very hurtful. And everyone is criticizing my every thought, I have no privacy. It’s like my mind is on display to the whole world. So difficult 
If that is what you are experiencing and your medication isn’t working you should go to the er.
I would tell you to call your doc, but it’s now the weekend.
You don’t have to live like this.
I know but I’m afraid to go to the er because I believe the whole world is watching me and know who I am and wants to harm me.
do you think it is real? or does it just feel real to you?

I believe it is real. What I am experiencing is very real. It would be hard to believe it’s not real.
I’m really afraid. This website is the only reassurance I have that what I’m experiencing is fake and I really believe that everyone on this site knows that I am on tv and is in on the fun of torturing me.
Delusions feel very real, but they aren’t.
That is why you need to get real help and find a med that stops these thoughts.

Yes you’re having some pretty bad delusions… psychosis. Please go get you some help honey.

yes it is fake. it may feel very real to you but it is fake. a lot of us here have been through similar things.
the right med can help bring you out of it, and then you will more easily be able to recognize it is fake.
