Help please

I hear people say my thought out loud. It feels like they are tormenting me with it. They think it’s funny. I just want to know if this is real or I’m just imagining it or if it’s a coincidence or a auditory hallucination. I don’t know.

There is not really a way for people to say your thoughts out loud. Have you got a diagnosis?

I struggle with this and similar. My guess is it’s an auditory hallucination. Wouldn’t hurt to talk to a doctor about it and they (a pdoc) can adjust and prescribe your medicine to help prevent this. The forum is always here for moral support.

Have you gone to a psychiatrist yet? These are more like auditory hallucinating,

This is a condition called “thought broadcasting”. It’s very common to schizophrenia.

I call my thought broadcasting soul broadcasting since it comes like from other reality. Can’t seem to get over it 100%.

@Sunshine2

It’s an auditory hallucination

My friend told me what I was thinking once and he said “I know, you’ve told me that many times.” So, apparently I was deaf to my own actual voice not realizing I had spoken. I thought I had only thought it and barely new that. My father believed children should be seen, not heard. It did mental damage.
And welcome to the forum.

I haven’t. I’ve been prescribed medication after medication and none seem to help. My psychiatrist just says “I think” it was May be this or that.

Welcome! You came to the right place! It’s not real, and we can tell you that because we know. :slight_smile: Have you told a doctor?

Welcome to the forum! :slightly_smiling_face:

This is sort of easy… You were probably focused on what you were thinking more than the environment… the schizophrenia ployed the old copy paste method into your auditory memory.

I’ve over heard crap loads of those things for years. They never proved true… but there are specific places where they proved totally untrue. People having to ask others to repeat what they said etc.

Keep on keeping on… eventually those scenarios become a whole lot easier to ignore.

It proves foolish to try and obligate people to help you keep it all straight.
