Help me decide- Netflix our Hulu Plus

today I am getting rid of my cable. I’ll only have antenna service. I’ve decided to add tv and movie entertainment. But I don’t know which one to choose. I am getting unlimited 30mbps. I have trouble concentrating throughout an entire full length movie. My daughter assures me that you can stop them with either service.

She has Netflix, Hulu Plus and CBS all access.

My cable with local antenna service is $42.00. Netflix and Hulu Plus are both $7.99 and CBS all access is $5.99 a month. I also watch a lot of the old westerns and mystery shows like Perry Mason, Wanted Dead or Alive on YouTube.

Any suggestions. I’m almost fifty-one more moth to go. I don’t live gore and violence. Not really a fan of chick flies.action, adventure, suspense and mystery are my favorites.

I would appreciate your input.

I saw ■■■■ that and use BitTorrent to download shows and movies in 1080p dual audio

I’m just an old geezer these days, and I am short of money. So I dumped the cable as well. I just use an air antenna, and I added a 15 dB amplifier such that on a good day I get 40+ free digital channels.

Other than that, I’m hooked up to Netflix along with every other selection that my Sony BluRay player gives me access to, such as Crackle, YouTube, etc.

Other than that, I play free movies online that are of mp4 format. I don’t have to watch the movies as they are playing, but just come back to my computer once they are finished playing. I then copy the temp mp4 movie file that is temporarily stored on my computer and save it elsewhere on my hard drive. I then save my entire collection of mp4 movies on DVD’s. My Sony BluRay player supports mp4 format and Data Disks, so no problem there.

So far I have 29 darn good movies, and I have saved them all on just 8 DVD’s. The video quality is great, and they are always free no matter how many movies I collect.

So I’m happy with what I have. Don’t know if this will help you or not.

I have “Free TV”, So I pay nothing for TV by having a digital receiver antenna outside on a tall pole so I get real good reception and all the channels come in good, but there is little to watch after 1:00 -4:00 pm , so I have ordered Netflix movies and such through the mail but even that will get old after I’ve seen everything that is new and will have to cancel it again for another 2 or 3 years and that is only $8 a month. I also get a lot of material from the library that I only pay local taxes for, and really more in overdue fees. lol.

Netflix has a broad selection

I meant “I say ■■■■ that and BitTorrent everything”

We personally have Netflix, it has a lot of variety and is pretty popular.

Based on experience, I strongly disrecommend this if you’re prone to paranoia. It’s often illegal and relies on allowing unknown computers to connect with yours. It’s very easy to fall into unhealthy thinking while doing this.

I have Netflix, btw, and I love it.
