What is role that you like from this actor…
I remember Candy,watched it few times,but role of Joker was amazing…
It’s very sad.
He was a talent.
BUT,
With these young, tragic death actors,
We kind of make them a bigger deal than they actually were.
Or ever would have been.
Heath Ledger killed it in that second Batman movie,
But generally, in my opinion, he was very hit or miss.
When I was growing up he was in teenage rom-coms.
Just saying the posthumous Oscar may have been a bit much.
Still, it’s very sad.

Have you heard theories about how the joker role is what led to his death. Like he fuc ked with some serious sh it by taking his mind somewhere and never really came back? I donno. Method acting.

I’ve heard that.
I think people want reasons for senseless deaths.
After Heath Ledger died,
I saw them interview Jack Nicholson.
They caught him off guard and asked if when he played the joker things got dark for him.
He seemed kind of taken aback,
Said no, he’s familiar with people committing too far for a role,
But he’s also familiar with popping pills.
It’s the pills that get you.
I’m paraphrasing, of course,
But the bottom line was that being in a character like that isn’t all consuming.
Heath Ledger abused a lot of drugs.
That consumed him.
However,
I do believe some actors found dead under odd circumstances are 100% probably closer to their conspiracies than the reports.
Don’t think that’s the case with him though.
