Healthy snacks

I’ve been doing surprisingly well losing weight the last week or two, but today is a challenge. I’m so hungry!

What are your healthy, low calorie, low sugar, snacks?

My stomach is aching even after the handful of almonds, an apple, and a can of tuna with hot sauce I had for breakfast. I’m drinking tea like a madman trying to avoid snacking, but if I end up giving in I’d prefer it not be bad for me.

Are you doing keto diet? Maybe you can have a dark chocolate.

No keto, just trying to avoid sugar.

I buy veggie burgers and veggie chicken. They are about 150 calories a piece and they are very filling.

Seroquel is weight neutral for me! And I’m not overweight.

Yeah. I know I should probably be ashamed of myself… But I make up for it by having a horrrendously unhealthy diet.

If you use the natural kind its pretty low sugar and very filling.

I can’t eat fake sugar, but even still a pb sandwich isn’t low cal.

I can back up celery and hummus, and apples are also great for cravings. Only thing about apples, I eat a lot of them when they’re really good and crisp.

You could make some apple sauce by putting the diced apples in a pan and cooking them up in water until they’re nearly transparent. No need to add sugar, honey, or syrup, although I guess any artificial sweetener would be safe.

I will sometimes eat natural peanut butter straight out of the jar when I have a sweet tooth.
But it’s high in calories.

Also, LED, something that may cure your sweet tooth, oranges and grapefruits. Grapefruits in particular will kill your appetite, but perhaps for all the wrong reasons. They’re very sour so a lot of people don’t like them, but I lost a lot of weight back in the day when I was scarfing two of those things a day.

DO NOT EAT GRAPEFRUIT!!! They affect the way your body absorbs medicine, and you could overdose accidentally!

I like Morningstar veggie burgers. They’re cheap, nutrient-dense, and keep me full for a long time.
