I am giving up beef for the environment due to the deforestation caused by it. It is the least I can do, so once my beef that is in my freezer is used up I will buy no more.
Being a coeliac makes it difficult for me to give up meat entirely in this wheat based food economy. It is not just that but the cross contamination of a lot of food products by wheat, barley and rye as they use the same distributors.
It really limits what I can buy and the cost is at least double!
