Headaches from antipsychotics

Any one else get headaches from all antipsychotics? Is there a common knowledge thing with that before I ask my doctor? It feels like there’s something behind the eyeball digging there’s pressure in my eyes and it’s only from the pills

Have you been evaluated for a migraine disorder?

No, my doctor wants me to go to a nuerologist but my grandma spent 75 years making up illness I am sick of the doctors adding illness after illness.

I actually hear the fleshy sounds like something digging

I know of someone whose headaches started after they stopped using aps abruptly…?

It feels like I can only use a small part of the brain at a time and it feels like air pockets in my tear ducts but it’s been going on for 8 years and it’s so bad it prevents me from even seeking help it’s like that part of the brain is turned off I can’t go see a nuerlogist the brain just blocks that thought

I dont wish to alarm you, but if you are having frequent migraines and psychosis symptoms, something might be structurally wrong with your brain.

i get a headache sometimes but i don’t think it’s cause of the meds. I just take in ibuprofen then and that knocks out the headache so it’s not too hard for me.

I have had similar issues with the brain many years ago. It is possible that you have a chronic brain inflammation that inflates you brain and mounts pressure on the scull.

You could try eating anti-inflammatory foods and supplements. That helped for me.

I got the worse headaches in my life when I messed with my meds without telling my Dr. I also got brain zaps and tremors. I stopped my Risperdal abruptly in one night and took a full dose Latuda the same night. I wanted to go back on Latuda on my own. I ended up vomiting the Latuda as it usually causes me nausea. It was a mess and a mistake that could have sent me into full psychosis.

I started having psychotic symptoms and had to increase my Risperdal on my own from 3 to 5mg for a few days to be stable then went back to 4mg and told my Dr. Now I take 4mg. I guess Drs taper meds for a good reason.

Brain zaps are electrical shock sensations in the brain . They can happen in a person who is decreasing or stopping their use of certain medications, particularly antidepressants.”
