I think @Wave makes a very good point.
I hope your husband gets better soon. It might make a difference to your mental health.

I don’t watch movies or news etc. I watched some rugby with my dad some time ago. I can’t follow anything. I can’t follow story lines, not even the news headlines.
People would ask me what happened during i cricket match, story, news etc but I can’t recall ■■■■. That’s why I just sit and say nothing when I’m with people watching tv.
I’m also scared to watch tv because of past delusions.
He’s improving. He’s still exhausted and weak. But he’s eating fine now. A little less food than usual, but he’s able to stomach it. I guess my comprehension could be due to the stress from his being sick. I’m very worried about him. He’s my rock and my soulmate.
Maybe your fear of watching tv is causing you too much stress to know what’s going on
It’s good news that he’s getting stronger and eating.
I wish you both the best.
Thanks @Wave !!!
It could play a role I guess… but even when I use to went to the movies I couldn’t follow.
My pdoc told me to watch prerecorded movies and series and not live tv.
If you watch prerecorded shows, you can rewind and watch again when you miss something. That’s not a bad idea
