Having a terrible time

Due my injection tomorrow and the last 3 days have been difficult again before hand but especially today. I keep thinking I’m going to die and my artery in my stomach is going to burst because of pain.

I’m going to see the doctor in 2 hours. I feel like I am literally dying today I am going through hell and very tired.

I called my psych nurse and the injection is either going to be brought forward or pills will be given on hand to take a few days prior to injection as needed depending on what the psychiatrist says.

I feel like nothing can bring me out of this pit. She said I will feel better in a couple of days. But I don’t know if I will even make it another day.

The drugs we have to take can interfere with the operation of other drugs, especially pain medication, but I think we are advancing in the development of new pain medications. After you let the doctors know what is going on with you they might give you better medications. Don’t start to think you can’t recover from this. The body has many marvelous ways to recover.

I appreciate that. I’m not taking any pain medication though. Just having a hard time today.

I keep hearing stories on here about injections “wearing off” coming up to the injection date. I hope they give you some top up pills if it’s that bad.

Yes. I wasn’t going to go for this at first I figured I would just plough through it. I have not been on injection that long. But I am tired of it now.

Saw my GP. Despite him saying it’s unlikely my artery is going to burst I’m still going through a hard time.

I have acid reflux / acid in my stomach that he said is causing my pain and I have been given something for it. I hope it works soon to put my mind at ease. He has also ordered a blood test because he said my hands fingers and face looked very pale.
