Ughhhh… I utterly hate doctors.
I have been battling with doctors for 2 1/2 years to get my symptoms under control.
I finally got a chance to see a new neurologist today. I have calcifications in the brain but they just want to watch and not help me do anything about the symptoms.
My psych doctor just wants to drug me out of my mind so I don’t even know my name. I am starting an assisted work program so I can not afford to be an invalid because of medication. I have been out of work for 2 1/2 years and I need to get back to work. Why will no one help me with my symptoms. There should be common ground where I can still function and be able to perform activities of living( talking, walking, cognition) but not have to deal with the damn psychosis. I guess bye bye to my psych doctor that refuses to help me.

I agree. Keep the one you got until you find a new pdoc. There’s no reason to drug someone like that, unless you’re violent and they have to subdue you.

Yeah it sounds like you need a new pdoc. That would probably make a big difference for you. One who works with you and listens. Not one who is med happy.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I am definitely trying to find someone who is a much better fit for me. I will get there eventually.
