I had a seizure on 450mg clozapine apparently it’s that what about you?
They can lower the seizure threshold but unsure about clozapine. I had a gran mal but it was related to me stopping xanax abruptly. I wasn’t on a lot either…it was like 2-3 mgs a day.
Your medical team will work it out. I went through a ton of tests etc. I know it’s not easy but stay in the system and see what turns up. You really need to follow through to rule out other things as well…

My pdoc wants to put up my clozapine but I’m too scared. I’m on sodium valporate which helps but still

Have faith. I figured out it was the xanax and I never had to go through that again.
You need to find what is the trigger for sure so hang in there. It’s for your benefit!

I know Clozapine can cause seizures:( I think it’s dosage related!
Yes I have history of seizures. I had partial sezure at age 9. So I take benzo(clobazam) for clozapine induced seizure. For me seizures are dose dependent on clozapine. I take a low dose now. Usually its myoclonic jerks and twitches.

I am on clozapine 200 mg.
I tried 300 but I couldn’t speak, it sedated me
