Have you weight gain with depakote ? If yes, what amount of weight have you Taken with depakote ?

Depakote is almost as bad as Olanzapine when it comes to weight gain.

I gained more than 50lbs on Depakote in the past but managed to lose most of it through medication, lower carb dieting and increased movement

It’s difficult to lose weight on Depakote but it’s not impossible

Not at all for me. I was on it since age 20 and was 130 pounds 5’10" up until I turned 30. I really started gaining weight with Zyprexa, which I’ve been on since age 32 and has me at 215 currently.
