I went to Singapore, France and the UK just before I got unwell, it was so great to see a different part of the world and I got to spend time with relatives who live in Scotland. I am from Australia.
Just wondering what other peoples stories are regarding holidays abroad.
I’m from the U.S. I have been to France, Egypt, Australia, China, Thailand, England for a night, The Netherlands for 2 days or so, Mexico, The Carribean, and India. I have rich parents.
I’ve been almost everywhere in the U.S. except Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Rhode island, Utah and Vermont. I’ve lived in Turkey, Germany, and Panama. I’ve visited Mexico, Italy, France, Switzerland, England and Scotland.
I’ve been to almost every state in the US, Canada, Zambia, Botswana, England, France, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, indonesia, India, and japan
Yes. Discovered that in England, I’m “from the colonies” no matter how much you protest that Canada is its own country (theoretically at least). Guess we should have tossed that tea in the harbour. I learned to do the “number two two-step” in Paris, France. Dog poop EVERYWHERE. Honed my drunk driving skills in the French countryside wobbling between farms on a 10-speed. Everyone wanted to feed me wine.
When I was young I traveled a lot, many US states and many different nations. I came back to my home country Finland in 2002 and after that I have not traveled much, just some local towns and cities. 20 years ago in March when the Kosova war started I was in France, Andorra and Spain. I lived then in the U.S.
