You are funny @far_cry0 , creepy funny lol
Have the madhouses changed since the old days.
They don’t exist here in the united states or are abandoned now.
Creepy for normies, but we are not.
Full asylums are virtually unheard of anymore because the conditions of them were usually terrible and the patients were often maltreated.
There is one close to my home but it was converted into a modern Hospital now.
My whole life is a frickin’ madhouse.
In Germany somewhere when I was like 10 my dad and I accidently went to a castle that was converted to an asylum. Nice place but it was mostly all blocked off.
I’ve lived in one.
no offense but i prefer the term ‘psychiatric ward’
and commisioner Gordon can suck my balls
I sometimes refer to the hospital I was in for 8 months as a “madhouse”. And the reason I say it is because we were woken up to eat breakfast at 8:00 am every morning. We had to stand in a long line of 35 to 40 people. Breakfast went fine but ten minutes after breakfast it started; people screaming and yelling at each other. Endless arguments, threats, and noise. And it didn’t ease up until dinner.
And to add to the confusion, the hospital had a cleaning crew come in two or three times a week and two days a week they stripped all the wax off the floors and hallways with a loud buffer and then laid down new wax with another loud machine. The noise level was just crazy. I didn’t participate though, I kept to myself and slept during the day or paced. Place was a madhouse.
And all I got out of an 8 month stay was a peck on the lips from a cute little Asian woman one night who liked me. Come to think of it, that made the whole stay worth it.
Yes, Ive been in a madhouse 5 or 6 times in my life, mostly because my mom is stupid and she forgot to buy my meds. And sometimes because of my OCD. I suffered too much in my life, I dont deserve it
Yeah, the one in my head, I know it all too well. You don’t want to visit the inside of my head, I’m telling you.
That is making me breathe heavy just thinking about it.
I worked in one in the nineties. It was actually very nice and should have been restored, but they tore it down. We had to go through old records that were handwritten with beautiful penmanship and tied with ribbons. We got to read their stories. One woman was there because her husband would buy candy for a young girl and she would sit on his lap.
