I love traveling to new countries.
Have you ever been abroad, if not would you like too?

I have been to Netherlands, US, Italy, Cuba, Germany, Syria, Lebanon and Canada. We’re thinking of visiting Sweden and Chile, family wants us to visit them.
@Aziz, When you were full blown psychotic and you decided to travel to Germany cos you thought you were Hitler, what did your family think you were doing there?
I’ve been to a few places. But since my dx, I fear planes, ships, and euro tunnel too much.
My favourite trip was Ghana.
I was normal to them. They wanted me to stay more at their place. I hide my symptoms in public, its just when I am home with my family that symptoms popup.
Did your family not notice that you were unwell before you headed off to Germany on your mission?
I meant family in Netherlands. I stayed at their place. Those in Germany just spoke to me but didn’t tell me to stay at their place bcz it was small and rented.
I mean your actual family in Canada before you left?
I told them I am going to study in Germany and I did for a few weeks. I sent them pictures of the university.
I had negative symptoms even without meds. I stopped going to the university in Germany after 2 weeks. I studied German there. Words are ridiculously long.
Haha yea that’s true the long words.
I learned some words, warum, was machen sie, verheiratet, etc Do you know German? Are you originally German?
Yes. I’m German.
just once about 10 years ago. i went to ireland. dad got a settlement because his father was exposed to radiation working at a nuclear power plant and died from it before he was 18. with the extra money he paid off his debt and took us to ireland for a 2 week tour of the country by bicycle, my favorite city was galway, women there are beautiful, i wasn’t expecting that, was pleasantly surprised.
i want to go to amsterdam someday, but other than that, i have no plans to travel abroad very much anymore.
maybe i would also like to visit my northern neighbors in canada someday and tour the country for a month. i would also love to see the northern lights.
My gf was irish living in Canada.
Yea I think the Irish look is quite beautiful.
I’m booked to go to Ireland next May 2021.
I’ve only been abroad once 1975. That was in 1995 to see my father in Charlotte. My mother had to accompany me to get me to the airport. The visit was fine, although I did venture out on my own due to my orientation difficulties.
The flight home was a nightmare though 10 minutes into the flight I noticed my wallet with cash, and return ticket home was missing. Some utter ■■■■■■■ had pinched it at the airport. I spent the flight in a state of high anxiety… At Gatwick I was given financial help to get home. That put me off travelling
France, the UK, and the US. Most of my trips have been to the Excited States.
I spent 26 years in the Navy and the Marine Corps and deployed on many ships.
I have been all over the world.
Never been out of the country. I don’t know if I could handle now tbh. Used to have ideas of visiting Germany when I had a penpal from there but nothing afterwards. Possibly Finland as I have family members there from when my recent ancestors emigrated.
I’d honestly rather visit more of my own country by bus. Airplanes and Skunks don’t mix.
