Tinnitus is torture.
I think I have a very slightl bit from the Nortryptaline I take for depression. I only notice it at night laying in bed when everything is quite. Mostly in my right ear.

Loud noises include music, machinery, gun fire etc etc.
So it was using headphones that caused mine and I’ve always had problems with earwax. Yes it can drive me up the wall somedays.

I started to listen to my music at a much lower volume. I used to blast it all the time.
Problem is headphones and music seem to help drown out the voices. Becomes a prime requirement to most SZ sufferers.
