Daydreamer, A bonsai unfortunately doesnât survive freezing weather or being indoors. Even if you put it in a window that is open the tree will suffer. There are some bonsais brown from tropical plants that will survive indoors. You might read about those.
You can over winter a bonsai in a building thatâs open to the cold and air - a garage or basement with a window. Insulate it with leaves _ water it maybe once a month. Thatâs what I did.
