I bought a few shirts today off of amazon.
I’m really not sure what to expect. Has anyone ever bought clothing off of amazon? What is the quality like? What should I expect?

Almost always you need to buy 2x larger. Look in the comments to see the fit.
Its a crapshoot. I once ordered a shirt and it came from Korea. Their large is a small in american size. Then i ordered from the US once and got a shirt that wears like a dress. So it’s pretty random most times. I got lucky quite a few times though and got stuff that fits.
It’s a crapshoot really.
Some clothes are better than others.
I get a lot of my clothes off amazon. I fit most mediums. I bought a handful of sweat wicking shirts for the summer and for my workouts. and I bought some shorts size 31 waist that fit great. I bought a couple pair of dress slacks size 30 waist that were a little too small. and my crown jewel. I bought 3 Hawaiian shirts size medium that fit perfect. one time I bought a cheap jacket from asia with like a priest collar/chef collar that was a little too small. never wore it.
Depends. Depends on what seller you buy it from. Reading the reviews might help andf reading the description carefully. But even if you go clothes shopping in real life the quality and pricing are going to matter and vary from store to store. And just like in real life, when you shop for clothes despite the labels on the clothes, a “medium” in one store may be a different size in a different in another store.
I am kind of sick of clothes shopping online and not getting what I expected at all, mostly in a bad way, and then it’s a lot of trouble in mailing it back for a refund. In stores you at least can try on a garment first before you spend your money. Because body types vary so much that if you have a large stomach or a flat ass, it might be hard to find something that fits in some stores because maybe you are usually a “large size” but if parts of your body aren’t proportional you may not find to find a good fit.
Yeah, my main two places I shopped for clothes online was either Amazon or Kohl’s but I’ve been disappointed too often of not getting what I expected so I had to either wear something for 5 months that didn’t fit as good as I wanted it to, or go through the hassle of mailing it back.
I buy my clothes off amazon. I usually buy name brand though so I don’t have to worry about sizing as a lot of amazon sellers will sell foreign product.
I have! I’ve had really good experiences with it! I love the clothes I got. You just gotta check the reviews on what people state the sizing is like. People will generally advise on what clothing size to buy for your body size.
i bought a hoodie and a hat once and some nice shoes
What did you pay for them? Should be an indication of the quality. A few were okay and a few were not. Some were real cheap wasn’t worth it to ship back to China so I gave them away.
Thanks for the information, guys. I’ve never bought clothes off Amazon before and now that I know it’s a crapshoot, I won’t.
If you’re talking about Amazon clothing brands, I would recommend them based on my experience. Decent quality and reasonably priced. Most of my underwear is Amazon Essentials.
Yeah I agree to read the reviews for each item. I have gotten some really nice things and others have been so so. Sizes do seem to run small for a lot of things.
