There’s a gene testing site that tests your health profile according to your genes.
They also map out which drugs you should avoid or take.
I’m thinking of ordering a sample kit from them. Even though it’s expensive.
The site is https://www.tellmegen.com
I just hope that my drugs that I take won’t interact with the sample.
Have you done a gene test? Do you know anything about tellmegen?

No thanks. I had enough trouble with math tests.

I once did one for my meds. I heard mixed things about it. I’m not sure which one it was.

I did one through the VA, interesting to see the meds that supposedly will work for me.

Just one for the MTHFR gene, which I was homozygous for. They have an increased risk for schizophrenia.

They really need to find a different acronym for that

I haven’t done a test specifically for health problems but have used raw data from places like Ancestry DNA to get some health related reckonings from various sites.
These are basic results from Tellmegen
In terms of what the genetic data on the likes of sites like tell me gen, genome link, and adntro indicate, and how things actually are, it’s neither terrible or great.
This is from Adntro and is definitely accurate
This from the same site is definitely inaccurate.
