I can’t find information now on wether or not my cell phone bill, car payment and student loans will be suspend while I am in the hospital. And I am worried about how much it would cost to be committed.

in the states is there not a phone line/help line you can call for advice ?
i have been near to putting myself in to mental hospital a few times , never did though, what ever you are going through you are strong enough to deal with it.
do you have some else who can sort out your phone and other things ?

My therapist gave me an emergency number to call just in case, I’m in the states, you are right @darksith

It is not an emergency, I am fine. I just need to make an appointment soon. I am not in danger of hurting myself or others.

I am worried though that if I do for whatever reason end up having to be committed … what happens with my financial responsibilities. As I will be unable to earn a paycheck… i swear i remember reading something somewhere that some bills could be postponed while you were an inpatient in a mental hospital… but i can’t find it now.

I know this job is very important to you, but you are very talented and I hope you can look for a better job if this one isn’t going to even give you time off for illness.
