When I was in my auto in America and I heard voices and had some psychological issues, I started experimenting with some behavioral scripts to counter f.ex. depression or to maintain a certain state of mind.
In my notebooks I have many behavioral scripts I documented 14 years ago. F.ex. one for countering depression could be:
- What is causing / triggering my depression?
- Do I understand real root causes of these trigger?
- Are these triggers real or delusions /imaginary?
- What can I do to eliminate these root causes?
- Can I do this alone or do I need some help?
- What can I do to prevent these triggers coming up again in the future?
- If I can not eliminate root causes, can I live with these without feeling depressed?
- How can I be more positive in my life, to feel better?
