It’s been a year and a half for me. I went manic because of my Zoloft. I didn’t even know I was manic.

I’m a month out of my last hospitalization. I’ve had 5 in three years.

I haven’t been hospitalized since 2012. I would like to say I haven’t been psychotic or suicidal since then too but I can’t say that. Just haven’t been hospitalized for it.
I try not to forget my meds but sometimes I still do in the morning. I don’t think I will ever go back. If I get worse when I get older I think I would go to a group home or something.

Feb 11, 2008, my 23rd bday was my last hospitalization. I filed for disability Dec 31, 2008. Took a lawyer and a denial, but we never went to court, lawyer just basically oversaw complete collection of medical records cause the places treating me didn’t wanna give over records to me. He ended up only charging me 2100 dollars, when he could have got 6k, but he said since really I had done most of work with my GP at the time. And she’s the one who filled out my forms cause behavior management was a joke in SD. He took it out of my back pay, which was ok with me. I found out he became DA of Pennington County right after my case was approved. I knew he was running, but dude ended up going on and from what my mom says (she lives in that county) he is doing so much to help those with MI get help and not jail time for nonviolent and drug crimes, so like petty theft, etc. The DA before him was something else, but I lived in Fall River county, but all lawyers are in Pennington county so that’s why we used him.

Last time I was in hospital was 2018.
I had a blip of about two years where I got put there about 8 times.
I don’t like hospital anymore. I have only had one good experience where the people were nice and tried to talk to me.
The rest of the times it was very unfriendly and the staff didn’t seem to care about the patients.
My last stay was 2 days. I went in voluntary and I hated it so much I got the ■■■■out of there quick. People were doing cocaine and I was afraid I’d relapse

I’ve been hospitalized five times. Once when I was 14 back in 2012 then four times from 2018-2019. Most recent hospitalization was August 2019 but I only stayed four days.

last admission was for 12 weeks back in november 2018. they poisoned me with this drug that inflamed my heart

I don’t understand it myself. I went in there to be treated for depression, but then it became a drawn-out battle to get the right medication for my so-called sz.

That is strange, maby they thought you had psychotic depression or something along those lines? Did you feel better after leaving?

I’m feeling very unsure about my prognosis. I just broke up with my wife which docs fear might be a stressor. Yes, they thought there was a psychotic dimension to my depression (my current dx is undifferentiated sz).

I went in from June 2018 to October 2018, if they put me on risperidone first I would’ve been out in a week

For my physical illness, I go to the hospital every three months. It’s a bit scary because I’m afraid that my doctor will be like “uh you progressed further into the disease”.
For my mental illness, I haven’t been admitted since 2016.
