I’d like to know if Valentine’s Day is celebrated in your country. I understand it’s celebrated “around the world”. How do you celebrate it? Here, at the home, we usually get some chocolate.

Usually people go out on dates in my country. I have never been able to ask a girl out on a date on Valentine’s day.

What’s the connection with music?
When I perform, my stock in trade is playing and singing love ballads. I also have 4 volumes in my Apple Music library of Valentine’s playlists that I made myself.

My grandfather on my mother’s side was a psychiatrist named Rudolph. He got teased his whole life because he had the name of the silent movie star Rudolph Valentino. People just wouldn’t let it go and he changed his name to Sam.
I met him as a baby but was too young to remember but a couple of images.
He was depressed in his old age and slept a lot, probably because of the antipsychotic medications he put himself on.

Happy Valentine’s Day ! My husband used to buy me a rose on 14th Feb. This year we went to a very nice McDonalds as celebration. McDonalds in China is a popular place for date. Also the uni students like to go there enjoying a cup of coffee while reading a book.
