From my ancient Druid ancestors came the wonderful holiday we now call Halloween. It used to be Samhain.
We’re having a huge block party in my neighborhood tonight.

That is my mother’s favorite horror movie!
Back before you could just google everything,
She was telling my sister and I about how great it was,
We tried to find a copy just going to different video stores and always ended up getting sent to some weird porno section.
I really was starting to believe she was imagining it,
Then the magical internet came around and I got her a DVD for her birthday one year.
She loved it,
Haven’t thought about that in years!
I never got around to watching it, maybe tonight…

I miss halloween. It was fun the two years I spent in America and I’m jealous of all my old friends having such a crazy day!
Australia needs to adopt it…like most of the world…one thing the Americans do well is an organised party!!! I hate saying that as a party loving Australian but it’s the truth!
