Is there such a thing. I cant be happy naturally bcz of bad negative symptoms. What about a pill? Are antidepressants happy pills?

antidepressants dont really make me happy just from taking them but allow me to feel happy more often due to not having depression clouding my brain all the time

I am never happy and dont have depresssion, my pdocs refused prescribing me antidepressants. Whats the solution?

if u dont have depression i dont know, it is common to lack emotions on ap’s and sometimes even just due to negative symptoms like anhedonia and having a flat affect

There is no such thing as happy pills. I doubt that AD’s will help you.

I never found antidepressants made me “happy”, at best they numbed the depression a little bit. I’ve only been on two of them. Paxil and Effexor, both had similar withdrawals when I quit but Effexor was way more intense. My depression faded a few years ago but it was with me for over a decade.
