I got a new ps4. I’ve probably played it 10 times. I regret getting it now, at the time it was winter and I was looking for something to occupy my time and had some extra money stashed away. turns out I’ve outgrown video games for the most part and no longer enjoy them. now I’m looking to get rid of it.
I don’t have regrets over most of the stuff I buy but on occasion I say to myself, what was I thinking?

Almost all of my purchases are regretted and I end up either cancelling them or sending them back and getting a refund. I always get my money back.

Like yours, a regrettable purchase that comes to mind for me was a video game console, an Xbox with Kinect. This was several years ago, 2012 I think, but yeah, I think I spent something like $400 on the bundle, and played it maybe four or five times before I got bored with it. I bought it specifically for the kinect games, thinking I would get some fun exercise and it would help me lose weight. I ended up selling it on eBay for half of what I paid for it, lost a couple hundred dollars in the deal.
Oh, a more recent one was buying a car from a buy here pay here dealership. That thing was a pile of ■■■■, don’t have it anymore, sold it shortly after I paid it off.
