Grift or no Grift?

If you had a chance… Would you do it?

Grift’s definition:

  • Money made dishonestly, as in a swindle.
  • A swindle or confidence game.

  • Go for the Grift, get rich quicker
  • No Grift, work for it

Most power centers in the world are built on Grift, such as the stock market.
Grift is needed to rise up to the upper half of the upper class, so without Grift you have no high value items to use for yourself.

There are definitively arguments for it either way, outside the moral spectrum. And obviously people make this decision on a daily basis within the management and upper class networks. (Not that everyone there is a Grifter, but I’m sure they all know one within their circle of influence.)

Not a fan of lying or stealing. It comes back around in the end.

I don’t believe in lying, cheating, or stealing. And I believe that whatever we don’t pay for this in this life we’ll pay for in the next one.

I disagree that grift is required to get wealthy

I agree @shutterbug .

I think most rich people stay within the law, but they have legal advisors that help to optimize their tax bill.
