Green eggs -just an American thing?

I know someone here has ‘green eggs’ as part of their user name. What are ’ green eggs?’

It’s from Dr Sues. He wrote a book called “Green Eggs and Ham”. It’s a children’s book.

It’s a very popular kid’s book. It’s about a guy who refuses to try something new (green eggs and ham) because he’s convinced he will hate it, but once he actually tries it he decides he actually likes it.

My favorite Dr. Suess book was always the one with the Sneetches.

Also Go Dog Go. I loved how colorful all the dogs were, and all the fun hats.

I liked Marvin K Mooney Please Go Home

Do British people just not have Dr. Seuss? I thought he was a universal figure.

So did I , because he was German.

Honestly he isn’t that big over here. I never heard of him until I was about 20

Was there a book called the ‘Cat in the hat’? I think my sister had it, but it could be a false memory .

Yes! That’s the most popular one I think. It has a tv show and several spin off books and a movie with Jim Carey

I selected GreenEggsandHam, because it’s a little off-setting to one’s smell. I also wanted something creative, and then when I saw taglines, @Ninjastar was kind enough to extend the verbage. Look at me, top of the mountain! LOL
