@Turtle44 I have no camera so I can not post a pic. It is good and also inexpensive. I like to put some sausages to my green pea soup. It is easy to make and I just had my lunch.

I just made a huge pot. I used cut up ham.

Yup! Simmer a ham bone for several hours, take off the meat, and start the peas plus whatever else you fancy. Very good.

It was a long time since I had pea soup. I get diarrhea from it. But I do miss it, you have to eat it with pancakes of course. :wink:

My GF makes vegetarian split pea soup with potatoes and carrots. Tasty stuff!
