The Beatles broke up in 1970. This was a huge hit on the radio in 1976 when I was in 10th grade. It was originally released on the Revolver album in 1966.

Revolver is probably may favorite Beatles album. But at different times that changes. Sgt Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road are pretty damn amazing too. And of course The White Album and the current Yellow Submarine (UK version?).
When I was a kid, the vinyl version of Revolver didnât include And Your Bird Can Sing, Iâm only Sleeping or Dr Robert. Glad those songs are included now.
A lot of the US albums arenât available anymore, like Beatles â65 and Love Songs. Back then almost their whole catalogue was completely different track-wise in the US vs the UK.

Apparently its about weed.
Also earlier versions had a slightly different chorus where he sings âsomehow somewayâ in between the brass lines which I always thought made way more sense melodicly.
