Just got the tires changed at a garage near my apartment and I decided to get them balanced as well for a little extra. I had to pay out of my own pocket, though, but even for the first day of the month, I’m still quite comfortable. You know what they say “short term pain, long term gain”.

I’m glad you were able to do that.
Do you buy them new or used?
Got to balance a tire if you get em new. Usually I pay for fitted and balanced. Pity you have to pay extra because it’s just one of those things you need doing. A car is a big expense but I prefer to have one. Just gives me enough freedom to get around and after this virus crisis I’m loath to take public transport ever again.
I just bought new tires and had them mounted about two weeks ago. Big expense but worth it as I’ll be driving 1000 miles south in about a month.
