Never easy running a car on a pension over here. Over the past 6 weeks I’ve shelled out well over 1k on my car. It’s handy having one so it’s a worthy investment still. I’d rather have spent that on other things!

My car has 91000km on it and was driven by a granny so well taken care of. I only paid $2000 for it and I have had to spend $450 in it which is nothing.

Yeah that is a good deal @FatMama. A guy at the cricket club sold me a 2006 Kia. It’s a good car and he’s always looked after it but it’s just one of those things. Tyres. $200. Timing chain $500. Rego $300…service $200…Just hit me all at once!
Still it’s a good car!

We have a government plan for tires. Get all weather tires and pay them off in 3 years. I pay less than $20 a month.
